At Arizona Native Democrats, we do things differently.
We know electing Democrats is the best way to safeguard democracy and improve our communities. But we also know true power lives in the people. Voters must see themselves as the decision-makers who choose their leaders—and inspire their families and communities to do the same.
That’s why our programs are built on relational organizing: the trusted voices of family and community leading each other to the polls.
Family Votes Matriarchs guide their families with wisdom and strength.
Youth Votes Ambassadors use peer-to-peer power to move their friends.
And now, we are proud to launch the final piece of this movement: Warrior Up.
Introducing Warrior Up
Warrior Up is a male-led relational organizing program designed to restore balance between male and female energy—an expectation rooted deeply in tradition.
On Arizona’s sovereign lands, men already gather to discuss the issues of the day. Warrior Up builds on that, training men to talk with their peers about the policies that directly impact families:
Raising the minimum wage
Expanding access to healthcare
Protecting SNAP/EBT
Investing in schools
Fighting the climate crisis
This isn’t about toxic “breadwinner” expectations. It’s about building stronger communities where men stand alongside women to demand dignity, opportunity, and justice.
Why It Matters
For too long, men have been leaving the Democratic Party, pulled by dangerous rhetoric that blames individuals instead of systems. Warrior Up is how we bring them back—by grounding conversations in Indigenous experience, shared struggle, and Democratic solutions that make real lives better.
This program will create generational Democratic voters. It will build a sustainable electorate that cannot be ignored or erased. And it will restore the balance our communities need to thrive.
